Accounting Head

Job Description : HEAD OF ACCOUNTING THAILAND Reporting to the Finance Director, and supervising the team of 5, you will lead all accounting activities, developing and maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. As the Head of Accounting, you will be in charge of working on the reporting standards and data gathered. Prepare financial statements, consolidation and analysis for the group of the companies Coordinates monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely financial results and closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Ensure the accuracy and the submission of Monthly variance analysis, preparation and review of journal entries, and preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure, Quarterly and annual audit reporting and preparation of audit schedules Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes Advise on the procedures and financial management as well as developing policies Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting Minimum 15 years’ experience in accounting management and consolidation Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, standards and best practices, IFRS, GL, A/R, A/P, taxation and audits CPA and/or CPD holder would be a plus BOI/ Free zone knowledge Experiences in FMCG or food industry is an advantage Strong leadership abilities including skills in training, performance management, motivation and staff development. Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, communication and team building skills Computer literate, proficiency in SAP
