Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO KSA 15+ years exp AED/SAR 45K Financial accounting and reporting • Ownership of the accounting function, including oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, tax, and financial reporting • Overseeing the month-end reporting process to ensure that the monthly results are accurately reported in accordance with US GAAP (for internal reporting) and IFRS (for statutory reporting) • Co-ordinate with the external tax consultants on annual tax calculation and ensure on-time tax filing. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes and systems to increase efficiencies • Coordination with the external auditors on the accounts reported to the Group and statutory accounts • Driving the performance • Partner with senior leaders on operational and strategic issues by providing recommendations based on financial analysis and projections • Lead the operational capital budgeting process for proper capital allocation • Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans and monitor the performance and execution of those plans with different business heads • Provide overall financial planning, reporting and analytical support to operations and the regional leadership team to help achieve the planned financial results • Financing and treasury management • Manage the relationship with the local banks In partnership with the Cluster Head of Finance and Corporate Treasury, negotiate term loans and establish financing facilities (revolving credit, LC’s, Bid/performance Bonds,) to enable the growth of the company • Monitor key financial ratios and ensure compliance with the bank covenants • Be responsible for the cash flow management of the company to avoid liquidity risk: monthly cash flow forecast and optimization of the company working capital • Internal control and compliance • Ownership and delivery of robust financial governance and controls framework. • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting • Develop and document business processes and implement Group accounting policies to maintain strong internal control system • Manage and comply with local tax requirements • Coordination with the Region on the updates of the entity risk register • Developing financial talent • Design and advise on the team structure required to provide financial support to the Company and Region • Develop and maintain the performance of the team through recruiting, coaching, performance management and training • Create a proactive and positive environment of continuous professional development Required qualifications/experience • Bachelor's degree in Finance or any related field • Master's degree in finance or accounting (preferred) • Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) Fluent English • Functional skills: • Good working knowledge of technical accounting, controls, SOX, audit processes, and US GAAP-based reporting. Tax experience in a multinational group • Strong experience of month-end close, functional reporting and preparation of statutory account • Experience and passion for process optimization and automation • Advanced Microsoft Office skills • Managerial/interpersonal skills: • Broad business acumen and analytical skills, • Ability to set and drive the finance agenda and influence outcomes
