Job Description : GM DRC Pacific Petroleum Ltd is a leading Importer of Bulk Petroleum Products with presence in South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda and Dubai. To support our primary mandate and as part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking for qualified and experience person to take up the role of General Manager, based in Lubumbashi, DRC. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the GM will have the primary responsibility of leading the business in accordance with the strategic plan. 1. Responsible for the development and delivery of the strategic plan to achieve business objectives, drive profit and champion customer experience. 2. Identify new and existing business opportunities to increase the growth of the organization, promoting strong client engagement, retention and attraction strategies 3. Identify and operationalize commercial market opportunities 4. Establish a structured multi-channel sales framework across the business operations with a focus on building a high-performance sales culture 5. Maintain an up to date understanding of competitor knowledge, contemporary practices and market opportunities 6. Responsible for effective financial management reporting & sales forecasting 7. Participate as an active member of the Executive Management Team 8. Establish and maintain business partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally 9. Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and professional development to a large team of experienced sales and marketing professionals 10. Communicate and report effectively to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). 1. Holder of Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or Bsc Engineering or any other related field. Masters degree is an added advantage. 2. 15 Years and above in Oil and Gas experience 7 of which should be in Senior Leadership roles. 3. Previous experience in similar industry based in Africa is required. 4. Proven track record in developing and implementing Operations System, policies, processes and procedures 5. Strong Project Management Skills 6. Strong Financials and budgeting Skills 7. Internal and External Client Management Skills 8. Demonstrate team building and management skills 9. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communications
