Chief Operating Officer

Our clients range from a variety of industries, such as – utility companies, refineries, petrochemical companies, power plants, etc. amongst other general industries as well. You will be responsible for the overall operational responsibilities for our company across various regions. We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating OfThe COO role is a key member of the senior management team. This role reports directly into the CEO and you will be the company’s second-in-command, responsible for the efficiency. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to driveextensive and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of work experience in providing products and services into the - Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, Construction and Manufacturing industries in a leadership position within the GCC region. You will be responsible to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you. • Design, plan and implement business objectives and procedures. • Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success. • Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision. • Oversee daily operations and the work of executives. • Lead employees by example. • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. • Create reports for the CEO and the Executive Committee. • Take the lead in business expansion activities and assist CEO in implementing strategic plans for the Business division. • Maintain relationships with partners N• Proven experience working as a Chief Operating Office or, a relevant role in the following industries - Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, Construction and Manufacturing. • Holding a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering. • MBA degree/ project management qualifications are also highly preferred. • Should have been in an operational leadership position for more than 10 years. • KSA experience would be preferred. • Be competent in all aspects of running a large independent profit center with diverse business activities. • Leadership, people management and execution skills. • Perseverance, Analytical, team player and customer focused. • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc. • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development. • Prior experience of data analysis and performance/operation metrics. • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
