Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the Executive Leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will have accountability for the Finance & IT functions, and work with a cross functional team to improve overall strategic financial outcomes. As a CFO you will provide strategic leadership and management of the financial function of the business, you will work closely with the CEO and board and provide support and guidance through the company’s development and growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of business financials including payroll, tax, accounts payable and receivable etcLeadership, coaching and mentoring across Finance and Administration; Monthly management reporting, annual budgets and forecasts Ability to present and translate management reports to the CEO & board Provide on demand cash flow reportingTreasury management Act as a Business Partner Ability to identify business opportunities through analytics and assist in making commercial decisions Alleviate risk through contract and insurance negotiations Oversee an ERP implementation The ideal candidate will: Hold their CPA/CA Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting or a related discipline a membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CA/CPA preferred) Experience and demonstrated success Have working knowledge in the complexities of family business Ability to motivate staff and others in pursuit of organisational vision and strategy Be commercially minded, strong operational acumen and be able to forecasta strategic thinker Have strong analytical skills and be able to present findings Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement Have strong operational acumen Have working knowledge of NetSuite Relevant experience in a project, mining, manufacturing or construction industriesCome from a manufacturing background What’s on offer An attractive salary of C. $200,000 p/a Profit share and incentives Free onsite parking Support and guidance from the exiting CFO Opportunity to join a company with an exciting future in a growth industry Scope to make the role your own The opportunity to be heard in business decision making
