20 yearsJob Description : BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER QATAR FOR RETAIL 20+ years experience This role is a managerial role, accountable to deliver units/line of businesses growth in terms of Profit and Revenue. This objective is achieved through execution of sales plan in line with the division’s & principal strategy, along with identification of potential vendors/supplier and establishing business relationship with the same. The Unit Manager contributes at an expert level to meet medium to long-term objectives and supervises/manages a team of Product Specialists and Department Heads. Accountable for delivery of revenue and profit target assigned by the business Prepare yearly forecasts & budgets and draw up weekly/monthly action plans to achieve the same. Identifies, gathers & defines the customers product requirement Cascade revenue target to allocated team members Responsible for assigning short term & long-term goals for staff under the line of business Ensure proper planning and monitoring of inventory in order to reduce stock related expenses including reviewing and acting on product expiry management Ensure proper transfer of information from clients to suppliers and vice versa. Update clients of latest product releases and other developments. Review receivables & payables regularly and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely collection of revenue and payment to vendors Negotiate pricing & offers with vendors to best meet the business requirements. Informs Suppliers of any adverse product performances to take suitable action on time. Prepares technical & commercial proposals & offers. Provides Finance Team with assistance required for carrying out feasibility study and other relevant projects as required by the business Analyses market trend, new product-worthiness, doctor’s skills and demand to provide specific product support to customers and also to devise procurement & stock strategy Analyses accounts receivable ageing reports and provides reports to DM & FM. Conducts competitive quality analysis on products being promoted. Analyze brand performances for negotiations with suppliers for price, credit & other commercial terms. Provides direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, coaching, training & development. Allocating work assignments, review progress in achieving objectives and performance appraisals. Understands and enforces company/departmental policies & procedures. Provide management team with details on upcoming projects, opportunities, sales & ways to achieve growth
