Job Description : MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR ILLONIS USA As the manufacturing director, you will oversee every operational aspect of manufacturing packaging products, make sure they are delivered on schedule, in whole, at the correct price, and in accordance with the specified quality. With specific accountability for the Operations Team/Warehouse Team, lead and direct all operational staff and communicate with the supply chain on every aspect of creating and delivering goods, as well as share the site's performance and plans for operations. Goals: As a member of the Senior Management Team, your work will be closely coordinated with that of the other SMT members to ensure the site is managed consistently. You will define goals and KPIs for the operations functions and work closely with the other site functions to ensure consistency in approach. Represent the development of the product, its systems, and the processes involved in its production on projects and in meetings. Be accountable for ensuring that manufacturing areas adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. Responsibilities: Direct the management team in charge of operations through advice, inspiration, and leadership. Establish goals to allow for efficient development and evaluation. Ensure that team members are fully informed on all matters connected to producing the product and maintain constant formal and informal contact. Establish and lead meetings to make sure that team objectives and achievements are effectively communicated. Establish the benchmarks by which results will be judged. Guarantee that the product is produced and kept in accordance with the specified procedures and that sufficient procedures and monitoring are in place to adhere to acceptable standards. Deliver manufactured goods on time, in accordance with approved specifications, and in accordance with applicable Home Office and Environmental legislation and instructions. Ensure efficient communication with the technical team when developing and implementing new procedures, items, and working ways. Collaborate with colleagues to create a culture of ongoing process, system, quality, and environmental improvement. Through ongoing review and improvement initiatives, make sure departmental KPIs are met or exceeded. Education & experience: 18 years’ experience working in packaging manufacturing A successful history of managing operations teams Solid familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing A thorough knowledge of responsible Health and Safety procedures Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing and logistics Degree-level education or other comparable professional qualifications
