Retail Operations Manager

Job Description : RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER MADAGASCAR leading company in the retail industry in Madagascar The job holder shall be responsible for the overall management of the retail business operations by: · Devising and implementing appropriate sales strategy in view of maximizing the turnover and profitability. · Providing direction and leadership to the team towards achievement of strategic objectives through effective distribution, procurement, sales, business development, promotional strategy, effective marketing, and people management. · Ensuring an acceptable level of service is being offered to our clients and the customer experience is maintained to a high level. · Ensuring effective digital marketing initiatives on our social media platforms to boost up sales and revenue. · Lead, manage, coach, and train the team (including ERP) and ensure optimal performance. · Ensure regular performance appraisal of the team and the recruitment of right talent. · Implement appropriate departmental procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and better control. · Control departmental costs based on proper and efficient planning. · Ensure adherence to the Company's Vision, Mission, and Strategic Objectives. · Act as a model and in accordance with Company's values and corporate guidelines. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent. · Customer-Centric. · Good negotiation and influencing skills. · Demonstrated experience at building relationships with other department and players in the market. · Ability to manage sales operations independently. · Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times. · Demonstrate leadership skills. · Demonstrate strong managerial skills in a customer-service environment. · Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Retail ERP. · Ability to identify and mitigate risk
