Job Description : CFO- Semiconductor Business Be part of the world’s leading natural resources conglomerate. Global leadership role to kickstart US$ 12-15 Bn Semiconductor business in India The Vedanta Group has committed an investment of 20Bn US$ for setting up Display Panel, Semiconductor and Glass Technology businesses in India. India at present imports 100% of its key electronic components. Vedanta has committed to invest USD 15 billion to make semiconductors in India. The demand for electronics components in India is estimated to reach a value of USD 100 billion in the next 5 years. To enable to the semiconductor manufacturing fab and Ecosystem, the Govt of India has committed over 10 B US$ for capital support. Vedanta is spearheading this dream bring Semiconductor manufacturing to India under a joint venture with leading ESM player Foxconn. We will be signing MOUs with 100+ Technology Partners, while creating the Semiconductor & Display ecosystem in India. We are committed to create this a Silicon Valley of India. We aspire to create a global scale semiconductor that caters to both domestic and global demands. Once in a lifetime opportunity to establish India’s global footprint in the electronics Industry by developing and executing finance strategies for the greenfield project. The incumbent will conceptualise, plan & create financial structure and strategies for the Semiconductor Business of Vedanta group in India. The incumbent should have an ownership mindset focusing on Debt-Equity, Capital Allocation, Reporting, Tax Management, Treasury & Banking, Fund Raising and Investor Relations Resilient Leader (CA/MBA) with exposure to Global Technology Businesses. S/he should have handled large sized capex and JV Partner management. Experience of a greenfield project would be an added advantage.
