Head of Facilities

Job Description : HEAD OF FACILITIES UAE A highly experienced Engineer with proven expertise in leading Maintenance / Facilities Management and Technical Renovation work for a wide portfolio of projects in the UAE. Qualified Engineers with a background in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering are welcome to apply. Responsible for the entire operations of the Facilities and Service Management division. Lead and provide technical assistance in order to ensure optimal technical operational standards for the division. Should be able to drive the company with technical expertise as well as provide optimal services to internal stakeholders. Conduct regular reviews of contract performance against budget and plans. Review, implement and evaluate remedial action. Develop and maintain a continuous improvement mindset to service delivery that generates “added value” to the business. Continuously review key performance indicators (KPI's), best practices, and review benchmarks. Investigate and define problem areas within the Project sites, conduct occasional site tours and have a firsthand knowledge of the status of the projects. Develop a strategic growth plan with agreed operational budgets with the board including strategies to maximize both internal opportunities across the group and new projects won externally. Take ownership of the company's P&L for maintenance and facilities management. 10+ years of experience in the Facilities Management / Maintenance industry with at least 5 in a senior leadership capacity. Proven track record within a senior leadership role within a Middle East facilities management and Managed Services environment encompassing team leading and management skills and business growth. Possess a thorough technical understanding of building engineering (MEP services). Proven leadership skills with an emphasis on stakeholder management. Leadership experience in an in-house setting for a diversified portfolio will be essential.
