Supply Chain and Logistics Head

Job Description : Head – SCM and Logistics. Location - Noida Min Ex- 15yrs with Automotive Industry Educational Qualifications- MBA Max Age- Up to 45yrs Salary up to 40lac -45lac (Current salary should be more then 28Lac ) JD- Order Execution Monitor the online portal to collect orders on a daily basis and plan for timely order fulfilment Carry out packing and forwarding of orders and dispatch to the regional warehouse/ C&FA Co-ordinate with regional warehouses/ C&FAs to ensure timely delivery to customers Inventory Management Define and monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels at all plants based on inputs from market forecasts and historical analysis Monitor inventory levels at warehouses and drive initiatives for improvement in Inventory control Monitor Slow moving inventory levels and co-ordinate with regional heads to liquidate slow moving products within the defined norms Coordinate with PPC, Shop Floor, Quality, Dispatch office, Quality & Security for smooth operation of logistics function Indenting Co-ordinate with Regional Sales Heads and Product Managers to collect sales forecasts and plan for indenting to units taking into consideration the existing inventory levels uFollow up with the respective units to ensure timely manufacturing of materials as per indent and dispatch to the respective regional warehouse Carry out regular stock verification at regional warehouse to ensure adherence to books Warehouse Management Monitor warehouse operations and ensure timely packing and delivery to the customers Implement initiative to reduce turnaround time and standardize warehouse operations Ensure compliance to safety standards and other statutory requirements at all warehouses Ensure implementation of new warehouses in pre-determined locations as per defined plan Transportation and Logistics Identification of zonal and state –wise transport service providers and carry out negotiations and contracting with the transport service providers
