Transport Head

Job Description : Head – Transport (Techno-Commercial Position) Reporting to: General Manager Work Location: Dubai, UAE Team Strength in UAE: 125+ with 4 Direct Reports, 23 Office Staff and balance fleet drivers Core Function: To lead and oversee the commercial and operational functioning of the Transport vertical within the organization. Optimize capacities & capabilities of transport infrastructure, maintain and develop relationships with key contract clients for Distribution services. 1) Any nationality is fine 2) Must understand UAE and GCC markets and operations, so he/she must have worked in this region 3) The role is more commercial than operational and hence he/she must know the P&L 4) Must also know corporate alliances/ tie-ups, budgeting, compliance, also outsource fleet and hence must know pricing 5) Must figure out ways to improve performance – necessary software tools are in place at the company 6) The mid-level team under him is very strong and sound
