Treasury Head 
8 yearsJob Description : Head of Treasury NIGERIA •Develop and implement strategies to anticipate and meet short, medium- and long-term financing needs at a reasonable cost while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. •Define processes and frameworks for managing liquidity and risks. •Ensure optimal capital expenditure and working capital management. •Ensure judicious management of liquidity to meet its medium-term requirements, banking obligations, and all likely contingencies within established risk limits. •Recommend strategies for raising necessary funds to facilitate the realization of operational and corporate objectives while ensuring minimal cost exposure to the company. •Ensure accurate cash forecasts and manage cash flows/cycles ensuring the availability of adequate funds to meet operational requirements. •Develop mechanisms to safeguard liquid and fixed assets. •Provide relevant input in defining strategies for managing an investment portfolio and ensuring optimal returns to shareholders. •Implement approved strategies and plans to ensure the availability of adequate financial resources to fund the company’s investments and expansion proposals. •Establish processes to support the identification of financial risks and exposure and the undertaking of appropriate foreign exchange and interest rate hedging decisions. •Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key bankers and relevant financial institutions. •Coordinate periodic reviews of investment and foreign exchange policies, and benchmark against other best practice companies. •Oversee the development of periodic cash forecasts and cash flow analysis. •Ensure proactive and accurate reporting of the company’s liquidity position. •Support the CFO in the design of the company’s growth plan and advise the company’s management on financial matters. •Evaluate the fiscal decisions of the organization and recommend the best possible course of action. •Keep abreast of changes and updates in macroeconomic policies and advice the CFO on the implications for the business. •Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, CTP, CPA, and ACCA) •Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
