Job Description : STRATEGY HEAD UAE AED 60k Schooling contribution Family ticket Family insurance Location: Abu Dhabi We’re looking for a Strategy and Transformation Senior Manager who will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning, development, and implementation of our client’s strategic plans with a focus on managing and mitigating risks. Supervising the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of key projects to ensure consistent delivery within timelines and budgets, and manage the identification and development of strategic partnerships required to support the company in achieving its objectives and targets. ? Formulate the company’s strategic plan for recommendation to the executive team by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing growth opportunities through financial, market and operational analysis ? Define the parameters for the development of strategic planning, including strategic planning policies, processes, tools, and templates ? Manage the development of strategic roadmaps and operational plans to enable the achievement of the strategy and objectives ? Manage research activities to stay abreast of industry trends, and stay up to date with sectoral, regulatory, and financial changes that may affect customer needs and service offerings ? Define policies, standards, and guidelines for project management across the company with the executive management team and department heads ? Manage the development and implementation of project management methodologies, dashboards, and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects. ? Manage effective monitoring and tracking of project progress against identified milestones in addition to the defined project timeline, budget and resources and follow up with functional project owners/ managers to ensure that data is reported and updated on the project management dashboard and system ? Manage the planning and execution of projects and programs and identify overlaps, interdependencies and opportunities for synergies and collaboration in close coordination with department heads ? Manage key projects and the evaluation of the performance of projects from initiation through to completion, and follow up with all relevant internal and external stakeholders ? Lead the development of control and governance mechanisms and monitor their implementation to ensure clear accountabilities and effective delegation of responsibilities ? Supervise the development of an institutional performance management framework to monitor the company’s performance through set KPIs and targets ? Lead the cascade of strategic objectives and KPIs down to departmental and section levels and provide support to departments as required ? Manage the periodic monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on performance of the company against defined KPIs and targets ? Work with other sectors to develop strategies and operational plans, ensuring alignment with overall strategic direction and priorities ? Manage the development and ensure adherence to a strategic partnership management framework, including policies and processes for identifying, classifying, managing, and evaluating relationships with partners ? Manage research activities related to the identification of business opportunities for expansion of the company’s service offerings, including the assessment of different expansion opportunities based on feasibility studies ? Support the execution of transaction related opportunities (e.g. mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures activities) to grow and diversify the portfolio ? Supervise the development of a risk management framework and risk management strategies in line with leading practices to ensure the timely identification and mitigation of any strategic and operational risks that may arise ? Manage the coordination with all functions to identify arising risks and ensure adoption of the most suitable remedial measures ? Manage the creation of risk response plans and the implementation of risk mitigation measures throughout the company ? Ensure that the approved budget is being allocated as per the plans and highlight any deviation actual / foreseen to management ? Ensure alignment with relevant financial policies and procedures applicable to the role and provide guidance to direct reports as necessary ? Contribute to the budget development process and provide relevant inputs ? Contribute to the preparation of workforce planning reports, talent acquisition action items and talent management activities at the section level ? Contribute to the definition of performance objectives for all direct reports and perform mid-year and year end performance reviews. Monitor performance and give ad-hoc advice when necessary to ensure that performance objectives are met ? Manage reporting teams and ensure effective leadership to adequately manage human capital in their achievement of objectives and targets ? Provide guidance and support to reports on operational and functional matters ? Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field ? Masters’ degree is preferable ? Relevant Certification: Certified Strategy and Business Planning Professional, Project Management Professional Certification or similar certification from an accredited institution is preferred ? Minimum of 9 to 11 years of relevant STRATEGY experience, with 6 years in a managerial position ? Expertise in managing strategy functions including organization-wide strategic planning and performance management activities and initiatives ? Expertise in end-to-end project management
