Finance Head

Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCE NEW ZEALAND Reporting into the General Manager of the business, the Head of Finance will look after all areas of Financial Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, and Human Resources. This role is perfect for someone who is technically brilliant and looking for that natural next-step management position. Managing the financial accounting system and all ancillary items relative to providing regular and accurate financial information on a quarterly and annual basis to the stakeholders of the business To manage all financial and statutory of the business – income tax, GST, FBT, PAYE, and the like Maintain general ledger Delivery the monthly P&L reporting in a timely manner Ensure all department reconciliation reports are provided to department leads in a timely manner Oversee and lead all IT functions of the business, including our external partnerships Ensure we have alignment with AP21 to deliver our database platform to the level required and create accountability to ensure it functions as expected Ensure our IT service providers are providing the network services required to function in the efficient and productive manner necessary Ensure our Head Office and Retail stores have a stable and reliable platform and lead the solution process if not Ensure our Retail stores have a 24/7 support system and network that provides them stability, at all times Support and lead the Operations Manager to create and drive Customer Service strategic priorities, track results, analyze the business, and manage the order portfolio Oversee & support the Inbound department of shipping and supply chain Work with the Inbound Manager to ensure the ways of working and management of all shipping and supply chain requirements are under control and within our forecasted plans Ensure Policies & Procedures are current Oversee all contractual requirements Strong leadership experience in finance role, good listener, motivational Can allocate time efficiently, set goals and priorities, set contingency plans Expert in technical, functional area Can use quantitative data to draw conclusions, present technical information in easily understood terms Extremely professional, influential, and ability to understand entire business Understanding of customers needs, commercial mind
