Job Description : HEAD OF WHOLESALE AUSTRALIA Petro National is an Australian wide fuel and lubricants distribution business based in Sydney, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Eneos Holdings and Eneos Corporation, Japan’s largest refiner. Petro National offers an extensive range of high-quality products, including diesel, petrol and lubricants through partnerships with the major brands, including Shell, Castrol and Fuchs. Petro also offers a fuel card network with a national coverage. With the backing of Eneos Group and an experienced local management team we offer a competitive, agile and responsive alternative to customers compared to the traditional suppliers in the Australian downstream petroleum industry. As the Head of Wholesale, you will be a senior leader within the Group and a member of Petro National’s management team providing oversight to all wholesale fuel distribution operations and ensuring efficiency of B2B and depot businesses. The Head of Wholesale will partner with the CEO to support Petro’s strategy to develop the wholesale business growth and profitability through driving values. It is also vital that you contribute to a high performing and supportive company culture and provide oversight to scheduling and distribution activities from an operations perspective. Develop and implement an innovative, growth focused B2B and wholesale sales strategy that ensures profitable business growth is accelerated, and commercial success is achieved Understand the value drivers of the business and identify profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share Lead the B2B and wholesale Sales teams with regards to sales prospect development, pricing, margins, closing new business and competitive information to ensure best practice Develop and optimise distribution processes to allow the business to operate efficiently and grow Manage efficient and effective depot and wholesale business operations Collaborate with teams in identifying and building strategic partnerships with relevant businesses or suppliers and assessing specific business relationship risk versus return profile Experience in a senior sales role within the fuel industry, including developing and implementing an effective sales strategy Experience in managing an Operations & Logistics team, including transportation staff Knowledge of health and safety regulations for transport of hazardous substances and dangerous goods Knowledge of transportation principles and methods, and hazardous product handling Exceptional problem solving, decision making, customer service and negotiation skills.
