Job Description : CEO AUSTRALIA As an Australian subsidiary of an internationally owned business in the energy industry, they are focused on delivering unique and quality solutions for their customers. There is the need for an agile CEO to continue to lead all aspects of the business in response to a shifting industry whilst ensuring excellence in business processes, customer service and business performance is maintained. As the Chief Executive Officer your role will focus on driving the business strategy through strong leadership and external stakeholder management. The Chief Executive Officer will have full oversight of the Senior Leadership Team and ensure key objectives across all areas align and contribute to the long-term goals and success of the business. Plan, implement and integrate high quality company strategies with support from the Board of Directors Set key performance goals for the business and motivate senior business leaders to ensure they’re tracking towards each functions’ strategic objectives Assess and decide upon crucial investments across key functions of the business e.g. operations, finance, sales etc. Ensure the business remains competitive by communicating to senior leadership the importance of being agile in response to external market opportunities and pressures Maintain strong relationships through clear communication with key business stakeholders including the Board of Directors and shareholders Ensure the highest international safety standards are maintained to protect all employees within the business and ensure all CSR policies are adhered to and reviewed as necessary A Business Degree and 2+ years of experience reporting directly to the Board in an Executive role 20+ years in a Business Development, M&A and/or Strategy focused role Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills Previous oversight of multiple key business functions e.g. Finance, HR, Sales etc. Strong analytical skills and high-level understanding of financial and commercial elements of the business
