General Manager

Job Description : General Manager -Manufacturing- Indore For A Tier One Auto Components Manufacturing Group. Responsibilities- • Leadership role in multiple manufacturing units • Overall InCharge of PPC, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Maintenance, Tool Room etc. • Establishing, Monitoring and Improving KRAs for all functions. • Representing the company to the customers on manufacturing, quality and supply. • Documentation as per IATF and internal operating system • Continuous improvement in cost effectiveness and operational efficiency • Training and Team Development to achieve a system driven organization • Preparing and submitting daily, weekly and monthly MIS regarding plant operations. KRAs -- • Maximizing OEE • Maximizing Monthly Production / Plant Productivity • Reduction Overall conversion cost / MT • Reduction Customer Complaints & Rejections (PPM) • Minimize Customer Line Loss • Minimize Total Inventory (RM + WIP + FG) • Minimize Equipment Downtime and losses related to breakdowns • Employee Motivation and Training • Reduction in consumption of consumables, etc. Candidate Skills & Experience - • At least 20 years of experience in manufacturing of auto components with at least 5 years' experience in leaf spring industry in a leadership role • Should have exposure to Manufacturing, QC, Maintenance, Tool Room and Steel Metallurgy • Should have experience in dealing with OEM customers • Honest, hardworking and ready to work on a hands-on basis. • Should have the ability to motivate and train subordinates • Should have good written and spoken communication skills
