Job Description : PROJECT PROCURMENT MANAGER NIGERIA 15-20 years experience Project Procurement Manager / Specialist Experience: Large-Scale Projects such as EPC, EPCM, Contracts Preparation, Drafting, finalisation, Licensing, FEED, Detailed Engineering. Certification: FIDIC Certification Preferred Skills: Excellent Communication, Conflict Management, Analytical, Negotiation and Adaptability skills, Education Qualification: BE / B. Tech Location: Lagos, Nigeria As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for: • EPC, EPCM, Project Procurement, FEED, Detailed Engineering. • Knowledge of Commercial and Legal aspects of Mega Contracts > 500 mil USD to 2Bn USD for Oil and Gas based Projects, mainly for Petrochemical Projects • Handling all responsibilities of Procurement of Contracts for relevant functions across the site • Ensure the contracts are delivered on time and within budget • Review, negotiate and finalise terms of the Contract with Suppliers or Contractors and take initiative to administer the Contracts through their life cycle • Work closely with the Project Management group and provide Commercial and Risk support to ensure the successful delivery of the contracts • Involve Legal, Finance, Engineering, Construction, Operations and Logistics and Insurance for effective implementation • Ensuring the Contracts meet intended outcomes and working with Procurement and Project Management teams to manage changes/claims about time cost and other terms • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for achieving targets and cost-reduction strategies • Using relevant knowledge of principles, regulations and practices for Contract Management and benchmarking with best-in-class companies, standardize processes to manage Contracts. • experience in Oil & Gas (Upstream and Downstream) in Project Procurement, Project Executions, Contracts Management, Project Estimations, Cost Control including On shore Oil and as Processing plants, Refinery projects , Offshore Process and production platforms , Four living quarter modules, sub marine rigid and flexible pipeline, power generation module etc., in Off shore Oil & Gas and Environmental Engineering projects. • Well versed in different types of contracts for Oil & Gas industry backed by good understanding technical, commercial, and technical controls related to tendering process, Project management. • Cross-functional expertise & skills acquired to work in Professional Environment. • Dealing effectively with multicultural environment; Comfortable interacting with people with diverse cultures, strata and caliber. • Having sound knowledge of organizational management processes and unit operations used in industries. • Good network of material suppliers and subcontractors across the globe. • Strong sourcing and Procurement knowledge. • Sound knowledge of standard accounting and banking practices such as letter of credit, INCO terms. • Well experienced in computer-based procurement systems, e-procurement and computerized vendor database.
