Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : DEPUTY CFO ANGOLA Belas/Luanda, Angola, expat or local Se/He will assist the CFO in managing and controlling the organization’s financial processes, management re porting, and manage the finance position of a group of companies in Angola Responsibilities: Active role in budgeting, forecasting/planning, financial reporting, Treasury, and cost control Cash Flow Management, ensure cash is always sufficient for the organization’s operations for all companies of the group Local financial and IFRS financial reports Financial planning and record-keeping, analysis of data, budget management. Implementing the Local financial and tax strategies. Monitor and control the financial systems including the ERP (Priority). Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of the auditors and government regulation Maintain relations with external auditors / tax advisors and adhere to all local regulations Preparing tax Reports for all the companies in the group Discussion with local/external tax, regulated institutions and banks for the ongoing activity, requests, and challenges Skills and Requirements Accounting and/or Business Administration degree Must Have a Valid CPA License MBA – Advantage At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, controlling the finance of a group of company with complex activity Good knowledge of the Angolan accounting system and taxes law, including the VAT Previous experience in managing a finance team including Treasury, Accounting, Billing, Tax, and Control departments. Good knowledge in IFRS accounting and reports – Mandatory! Fluent in English and Portuguese – Mandatory Problem solving abilities and strong work ethic Commercial understanding and experience to assist the project companies Previous Working experience in Angola, IMPORTANT
