Fleet and Logistics Manager

Job Description : FLEET AND LOGISTICS MANAGER NIGERIA We are looking for an experienced fleet and logistic manager (EXPAT) to be responsible for overseeing the logistics of company’s transportation related activity. · Ability to manage oil fleets. · Coordinating with driver & conducting daily briefing. · Manage end to end transport operations. · Sound knowledge of cargo loading and unloading · Resolving any arising problems on road . · Performance management for TAT adherence across fleet for both same city and long-haul movements. · Efficient tracking to optimize the utilization of trucks daily. · Report to the Transport Manager daily and ensure proper functioning of Fleet related activities. · Overseas the clean-up of all hazardous waste material spills · Make sure that all vehicles are registered and carry out inspections on a regular basis. · Take preventive measures to ensure the safety of vehicles and drivers too. · Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring Logistics operations such as warehouse, inventory, transportation, and supply chain · Supervise the team of warehouse staff or other logistic specialists. · Working independently or with minimal supervision · 15years’ experience in transport fleet management .(Africa exp will be advantage) · Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills. · A bachelor’s degree from accredited university in operations or supply chain · Proficient in MS – Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS – Outlook etc. · Good written and verbal communication.
