Job Description : WAREHOUSE MANAGER OMAN FOR RETAIL/SUPERMARKET Gender : Male AGE - Between 35 and 40 years EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION :-Degree / Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or business administration EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 10 years experience, out of which 3 years should be in Managerial role. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The role of Warehouse Manager is to have excellent control of warehouses located at various places in Oman for wholesale distribution as well as to control the warehouse operation of the Super market located in Buremi. He will be sitting at the centralized location and control the operations by closely interacting with warehousing team and making periodical visits to these warehouse locations. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, warehousing, distribution and assuring quality of goods. Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft and wastages. Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays and general appearance of the store. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and safety of the staff. Organize and maintain inventory and storage area Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy Communicate job expectations and coach employees Determine staffing levels and assign workload Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager with leading wholesale distributors, Super/Hyper Market etc. Highly effective Managerial skills and techniques Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong organizational and time management skills
