Operations Director

Job Description : Operations Director for a private equity-owned plant located on Long Island, NY, which produces Labels, Shrink Sleeves, Flexible Packaging, and other items. This role will oversee the label manufacturing and packaging process throughout the plant. It is a new position that is needed due to the rapid growth of the company. You would oversee production and schedules, ensuring inventory and the required shipment timeframes are met. To be considered for this position, you should have at least 10 years of previous experience running a Flexo PS Label manufacturing plant or similar facility. Experience in shrink film, flexible packaging, and digital printing would be a plus. You should expect to spend a good amount of time on the production floor to identify and recommend cost controls and press speeds, along with other improvements to the production process.
