Warehouse and Logistics Head

Job Description : Head of Warehouse and Logistics Location, Doha, Qatar Qualification & Skills. Bachelor’s degree in logistics or another related field Minimum 8+ years of experience working in a warehouse and two years of leadership experience required. Oversee warehouse operations, making sure workers complete tasks quickly, effectively, and correctly. Manage warehouse worker schedules to ensure there is always enough labor to properly operate complete logistical operations. Resolve warehouse issues, implementing negotiation and conflict resolution techniques Recruits, hires, and trains new warehouse and logistics employees Coaches, counsels, schedules, and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed by enforcing policies and procedures Forecasts requirements, prepares annual budgets, schedules expenditures, analysis variances and initiates corrective actions to meet financial objectives of the warehouse Determines product handling and storage requirements to develop warehouse and logistics operations systems Develops, implements, evaluates, and enforces policies and procedures CIPS, APICS or any other relevant certification preferred.
