Job Description : STRATEGY AND PLANNING MANAGER ABU DHABI UAE Salary: Up to 50k AED P/Month The Strategy and Planning Manager provides full-cycle executive management support for key strategic initiatives of business planning, and other planning objectives whilst collaborating with senior stakeholders in order to develop strategic plans, feasibility studies to help understand, define and formulate geographic expansion and acquisition opportunities, produce econometrics and analysis, and maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements as required for a publicly listed company, whilst aggressively exploring international business ventures Job Description: Developing a strategic plan for the Group that is aligned to the latest trends globally, focusing on long-term goals and short-term objectives that align with the company’s mission statement. Monitoring and measuring the company’s performance against set targets based on the balanced scorecard approach. Participating in meetings with external stakeholders (investment bankers, investment partners and suppliers). Reviewing and analysing data to identify areas of opportunity for improvement on group performance Conducting research to identify new opportunities for growth in existing markets or emerging markets Coordinating with members of the Executive Management Team to ensure that all verticals are working collaboratively and collegiately Preparing CRM reports detailing progress towards goals, identifying challenges and producing innovative solutions to achieve corporate success across the Group Education and Experience: First class Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management Master’s degree is preferred (MBA) 10+ years of experience with at least 7 years in large organizations (preferably PLC’s) ideally with a mix of corporate and consulting strategy experience Ability to impact decisions within and outside the group Effective influencing tactics and strategies Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic plans
