Production Head

Job Description : PRODUCTION HEAD OMAN FLOUR MILLS OMAN Establish the short and long-term strategy for production based on the Company’s & stakeholders' objectives and performance indicators for the measurement of the success of the company Interface Operation Ing assets to determine Oman Flour Mill's production targets and operating plan. Closely monitor production parameters and direct to safely maximize efficiency and meet production targets. Oversee production sections/units and implement corrections as required to ensure that the product is on specification/minimizes giveaway and recycling of off-spec materials. Plan, schedule, control and monitor day-to-day production and maintenance major activities for the Mills on weekly, monthly and annual basis including unplanned emergencies. Deliver the expected production outcomes based on plans for the development/ production of all assets under safety and quality standards (production plans, energy consumption, cost optimization, emergency response overseeing the production performance related to Oman Flour Mills operations. Develop the best synergies among production facilities, ensuring that resources (material, equipment's, financial, and Human Capital) are properly distributed to guarantee efficient operations commercially at safe standards. Manage and conduct regular structured production meetings with Operations leaders to follow up on performance, and identify operational issues, challenges and solutions to ensure optimal operational performance Administer work orders, ensuring are completed on time and within budget Approve the scheduled production shift assignments, ensuring the shifts are trained and in compliance with Government and company regulations to avoid work-related accidents. Assess production plans, direct processing guidelines and processing production priorities keeping alignment with effective operations and cost factors Coordinate processing activities with Engineering, Maintenance, procurement, and QAQC; in order to obtain optimum processing and utilization of human resources, machines, and related equipment. Coordinate with Sales teams in order to fulfil demands and achieve forecasted sales. Also, during times of unformatted sales surges. Revise processing schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems Consult with engineering matters related to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve processing and quality of products Lead and direct multiple teams of professionals to: Develop an operating plan for the different Mills for the value production chain of the company, by co-creating/setting production targets and an OPEX and CAPEX budget based on the approved business plan, upon liaising with relevant functions to achieve the production and gross margin targets Designs and implements measures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency while monitoring KPIs and risk at work with relevant Service areas. Provide timely and accurate inputs for the development of management corporate reports Develop and implement assets reporting framework in line with applicable laws and regulations Implementing production standards and procedures impacting/ensuring the highest levels of HSE Keep abreast of technological advancements and best practices in the industry to identify solutions to steer production as well as logistics to levels that are best in class. Ensure effective achievement of departmental lines production objectives for the team members, manage team performance and develop talent to maximize their potential. Experience: 15+ years of experience, in Flour Mill or Feed Mill 5+ years in a senior Feed or Flour Mill management role (managing multiple teams) Experience in hands-on operational positions Manufacturing/operations management experience. Experience in implementing production initiatives to improve flow optimization and logistics Exposure to all the Feed Mill or Flour Mills processes Solid experience in Feed/Flour Mills processes (Intake, Milling, conditioning, packing Raw materials, press, premix, and Specialty products) Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical, production, mechanical or process specialty. (Preferred) Advanced Milling School training/certificate (Mandatory)
