Job Description : Sr. Buyer - E&I Nigeria Location for Oil & Gas Plant Job Description: • Engineering degree in Electrical /Instrumentation from a reputed college • Should have handled Procurement from Sourcing to Delivery management for Electrical & Instrumentation Items incl Bulks ,for Oil and Gas Projects incl Refinery ,Petrochemicals as well as Fertiliser Projects , preferably in in EPC scenario and should have handled a team of at least 3 buyers • Knowledge on placing orders for Service contracts for Vendor Supervision Services • Knowledge of Procurement process from RFQ to Delivery of materials at Site for Petrochemicals Projects as well as Fertilisers (preferably ) • Should have worked with the category as above in EPC Projects at least in 3 projects across India and abroad (added advantage) • Commercial and Contracts knowledge and should have closed large value PO s • Industry Knowledge of the Category • Knowledge on all types of Vendors available for the scope of items to be procured in India and the Globe • Should have the technical understanding of the items under this category and worked closely with Engineering and Projects • Should be a good communicator and Team worker • Negotiation Skills • Communication Skills • Knowledge on Incoterms and Logistics procedure • Proven Track Record of delivering goods on time for various projects and resolving Vendor Change Orders. • Brief knowledge on Strategic Sourcing techniques (preferably )
