Job Description : Buying Manager Industry: Fashion & Retail Location: Dubai, UAE Responsibilities: • Plan and select brands and products according to customer demand, trends, budget and Directorate strategy • Drive gross sales and net contribution; create excitement through the introduction of innovative concepts, brands, vendors and product • Work with the Head on setting budgets for areas of responsibility. • Analyse and interpret sales figures and trends to make business decisions. • Work closely with Merchandise Planners and Financial Analysts in the production of periodic forecasts and financial planning • Develop and maintain brand relationships to ensure that • Harrods is consistently presented with excellent market opportunities. • Ensure that there is a promotional calendar for areas of responsibility.
