Job Description : Executive Vice President, Commercialization & Technical West Coast USA $350,000 - $400,000 basic, bonus and LTI Our client is an investor backed manufacturer of protein products with huge domestic and International growth plans. Due to recent investment and significant growth plans, they have a created a new role on the exec leadership team and are looking to appoint a EVP Commercialization and Technical. The Role Reporting directly to the President and a key member of the executive leadership team you will be fully responsible for the management and control of all resources associated with their technical function with complete accountability for technical performance covering end to end R&D, food safety, quality, legality, compliance and customer service. Will act as the key contact and develop close relationships with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies whilst working closely alongside peers across all functional leadership positions. Will design and deliver a technical and commercialization excellence agenda and manage the development of your team to achieve optimum performance levels. Provide technical support to the marketing and sales team on matters related to nutrition and application of the company's products in the field including the preparation of technical papers and other support material. Key elements to this role will be to further enhance technical capability including owning budgets for future technology investment and building / shaping the team to support ambitious US & International growth plans. The Person With a degree and post grad qualifications in a food or biological science discipline, you will be an experienced technical executive with at least 10 years' experience, either industry or university. Track record commercializing biological products with expert knowledge of Protein science, quality assurance and formulation. A collaborative, proven team builder and leader with the ability to prove you can work closely with commercial and operational peers to increase overall business performance. Commercial savvy, you will be comfortable representing the business at a senior level across multiple platforms including with key third party suppliers/ bodies and within customer organisations.
