Job Description : HEAD OF AUTO TRADING UAE Simply grow the business Achieve dealership targets for sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities. Grow supplier base to deliver constant and diverse car flow Risks and issues identified, with action plans in place and delivered on time – develop and implement a robust control foundation. Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, loss of business to competitors) – have robust plans for market creation often against the macro trends Manage team performance – with consistent reviews, coaching and performance management Support the dealership to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Maintain high ethical standards in all business dealings with customers, employees, and vendors Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee development and teamwork Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, (including handing of port clerance) as well as company policies and proceduresDevelop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers Monitor automotive market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities Negotiate vehicle purchase contracts with manufacturers and other dealerships Manage inventory levels and vehicle pricing to maximize profitability To create all operating policies of the business, within agreed guidelines, including pricing and credit limits, customer service levels, warranty and guarantee policies. Monitor continuously all business activities to identify potential threats and opportunities and adjust plans and objectives accordingly. This includes competitor actions in products and services, customer changes, economic and market trends. Manage the operation and usage of all financial and business management information, arrange and conduct monthly review and control meetings. Ensure the building and assets are always secure and any additional capital spend is appropriately authorised within the agreed limits. Qualifications Int.
