Production Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER SPAIN An excellent Production Manager role has become available at food-chemical company in Barcelona. In this strategic position, as Production Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling the optimization and management of production, industrial maintenance, Food Safety and EHS activities in the production plant, coordinate teams and manage the industrial performance on the site by guaranteeing the best standards of safety, quality, delivery, cost/customers, People. Propose and implement industrial organization choices, staff recruitment. Plan the overall allocation of resources, human, material, economic. Optimize production resources and deploy the Group’s operational excellence system. Ensure the management of the industrial performance of the site, ensure its operational implementation and its integration into the missions of all stakeholders. Propose and monitor the implementation of investment choices concerning the production tool. Monitor and report to the COO Spain and the S&OP Group Director on the results of the activity. Set up a culture and a team leadership system that promotes empathy, cooperation, development and accountability. Be an ambassador of safety and hygiene principles for the entire site.? With a degree in Chemical, Food, Biotechnology or Industrial Engineering or similar, you will provide more than 12 years of experience as a Production Manager or Site Manager. Knowledge in Navision and Microsoft Office is mandatory. To successfully fulfil the role you will have to demonstrate good ability to manage production processes, maintenance, knowledge in investments, analysis capacity and leadership skills.
