Job Description : REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR An exciting opportunity as come up with an electronics manufacturing and production company in Penang due succession planning. Reporting to the Regional Operations VP, this Regional Operations Director job is for someone who is passionate about driving the organisation to promote the company’s corporate culture. The Regional Operations Director job scope includes a wide range of responsibilities leading the overall operation of multiple sites in the region of the facility related to company policies and procedures, production, maintenance, quality, inventory, logistics, receiving, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and promotion of the culture of the company. Responsible for cost effective control over capital expenses, operating expenditures, and manpower Oversee the management, procurement, and disposition of all capital assets Lead and manage the regional operation teams to ensure all sites meet or exceed revenue Develop, drive and execute Operations strategy to meet optimum efficiency at all sites Develop, drive and execute Supply Chain strategy to ensure our suppliers and partners are able to support our Operations effectively Maintain effective communication with all teams including Sales and other functional departments Ensure high safety standards to ensure a safe and productive working environment at each site Evolve engineering and other operation capabilities to keep up with market needs to provide differentiated value from our competitors Promotes the company’s corporate culture and image by collaborating with associates and being involved in community events and organisations for the company Provide the facility with the local/regional vision, mission and objectives required to carry out in a manner consistent with company values and beliefs Partner with support organisations (e.g. human resources, finance, learning and development) to establish overall plant goals related to administrative and personnel aspects. Coordinate facility activities through the coordination with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. To succeed in this Regional Operations Director role, you need have strong operations management and profit and loss (P&L) accountability experiences. Minimum os a bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 20 years of related working experience At least 10 years at management and senior leadership level Strong regional operation management experience Previous experiences in handling operations in Southeast Asia is an added advantage.
