Senior Accountant

Job Description : SENIOR ACCOUNTANT NIGERIA 1. Manage all accounting transactions 2. Prepare budget forecasts 3. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings 4. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable 5. Ensure timely bank payments 6. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns 7. Audit financial transactions and documents 8. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary 9. Comply with financial policies and regulations 1. Should have ERP working experience SAP/ EPICOR ( We do not consider Tally as ERP). 2. Minimum 10 years of working experience for CA-Inter/ M Com candidates (CA qualified candidates ( 3-5 years) 3. Should have worked atleast in Oil & Gas / Manufacturing Companies / Infrastructure companies or Mining companies with Turnover more than 500 Crores. 4. Should be proficient in speaking English. Candidates for Outside Nigeria for Mining Business Working knowledge of French would be preferred. 5. Should be a Team Player and looking for long term opportunity. We dont need frequent flyers. 6. He should be perfectly healthy and working experience in Africa will be preferred 7. Candidates who can relocate earliest will be preferred 8. Knowledge on IFRS, IAS, Taxation will help understand the initiatives, aptitude of candidates 9. Audits with Big -6 Audit firms will be preferred as a team member. 10.
