General Manager

Job Description : GM UAE FOR HEAVY MACHINERY Sector: Manufacturing Years of Experience 15+ Qualification: Engineering Degree Salary: Up to 80,000 AED a. The General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a metal manufacturing facility. This includes overseeing production, quality control, and safety procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and are produced efficiently and safely. The Manager will also be responsible for managing the budget, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order. b. Key Responsibilities: i. Oversee the production of metal products, including scheduling and coordinating production to meet customer demands and deadlines ii. Ensure that products meet specifications and quality standards iii. Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products iv. Manage the budget, including forecasting and controlling costs v. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order vi. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment vii. Hire, train, and manage a team of production workers and supervisors viii. Monitor and improve efficiency and productivity levels ix. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues that may arise c. Qualifications: i. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field ii. 15+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management iii. Strong leadership and management skills iv. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management v. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices vi. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills vii. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
