Job Description : JV HEAD MALAYSIA a global leader in the petrochemical business. The Head of Joint Venture (JV) will act as the client's senior representative in the JV; responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the JV partner. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Manage and minimise SHE and operational risk in the JV by influencing the adoption of a systematic culture · Lead all commercial - including sales and marketing and supply chain - activities in the JV · Ensure that "best in class" commercial processes are in place to deliver short and long-term commercial performance for the JV · Responsible for delivery of JV financial performance in accordance with agreed business plans and budgets · Ensure that all JV governance processes are managed properly and adhered to · Work as a member of the client's regional leadership team to ensure that the JV activities are aligned with business strategy · MSc or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, or related fields (MBA preferred) · Minimum 15 years' experience in leadership positions with full manufacturing, commercial and financial exposure · Proven track record of business management in Malaysia · Politically astute, and the ability to adapt to change and lead others through complex situations · Tenacious and accountable for driving results · Experience of joint ventures is highly preferred The successful candidate will be entrusted to steer the business in Malaysia for a global petrochemical company.
