Managing Director

Job Description : MD DRC Coming from a telecom infrastructure background, having already held complex operations in though markets (at least 15 years' overall experience in this field); Excellent communication skills; Capability to manage different teams and being able to propose new strategies and solutions for the OPCO's evolution; Leadership skills; Negotiation skills; Fluent in both French and English is a must; Experience in the African market is a great plus. Responsibilities: The Managing Director will report to the Group CEO and to the Group's Management Team on the performance of the operations, with submission of monthly management performance reports. The MD will also attend the monthly operation’s performance review meetings, providing justifications, clarifications and action plans where and when needed. He/She will coordinate and develop all the local departments and will ensure that operational and strategic objectives are achieved. The MD will follow up closely with his/her heads of O&M and E&C on the status and performance of the projects, making sure that Clients' expectations are met. The MD is also responsible for the preparation of the annual budget plan and will submit it to the Group Budgeting and Reporting team after aligning with the different Group departments. It's his/her responsibility to builds and maintain strong relationships with all Group's clients. The MD will also be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities and develop new business relationships with clients in coordination with the Group Sales team, negotiating tenders and contracts. He/She will ensure the employees' engagement and will always make sure that Post Employee Engagement Survey’s action plans are developed and implemented. The MD is also the Comapany's representative at legislative sessions, committee meetings and formal functions. He/She has to ensure safety and environmental protection in all aspects of the work. Education: Bachelor's in Civil / Electrical /Telecom Engineering or Bachelor's of Business Administration. Master’s or MBA is a plus
