Job Description : PLANT HEAD BANGLADESH FOR PAINTS Candidates must have experience in paint production / manufacturing and it is mandatory. · Co-ordinate and manage production on a day to day , monthly and yearly basis, ensuring best utilization of production capacity , deployment of manpower and other resources. · Continuous improvement of processes as well as Technology in co ordination with the Quality control, Production Engineering and Technical Dept. to reduce batch cycle times , increase in yields , increase operational ease and ultimately leading to cost effective production. · Thorough knowledge of plant handling & Customer / legal audits. · Responsible for total production planning (RM to Dispatch) & quality control assurance ensuring lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM. · Supervise & motivate the team. · Review of the Safety, Health and Environment system of the plant concerning man and equipment. · Liaison with Commercial and Marketing on specific issues. · Manage cost control along with legal & EHS aspects. · Ensure that the discharge parameter of all the equipment in the plant are within the statutory limits and health and hygiene of the plant personnel is well maintained. · Maintain discipline & better and safer work practice in the Plant. Safety and Environment is a primary accountability which takes priority over the production. · Decrease of Batch Cycle time, increased cost benefit ratio of Paints, Resin and Powder production, capacity utilization of men and equipment. · Solve technical and specific problems concerning process and marketing . · Six sigma approach & completion of Improvement projects as per target.
