Chief Financial Officer 
15 yearsJob Description : CFO UAE To manage, and direct all aspects of accounting, both GAAP and regulatory. The CFO will provide leadership and oversight of accounting processes and financial reporting. As a member of the leadership team, contributes to the establishment of guidelines and direction, provides strategic direction and fosters a spirit of cooperation and coordination among departments. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration and influence skills when working with internal and external partners. The ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously through change, while delegating appropriately, is key. Leads and manages all accounting and financial reporting. Ensures all accounting controls are in place and ensures the financial integrity in all aspects of reporting and adherence to company accounting policies and practices. Provides leadership and oversight of the reviews and analysis of financial results and plans. Identifies key drivers of results and provides leadership and consultation to the various business and office leaders to ensure understanding of results. Acts as a primary point of contact and advisor for financial management and related requirements. Oversees the reviews and analysis of expenses. Identifies key drivers of unit costs by function and compares actual expenses to budget and pricing allowable. Collaborates for developing and maintaining efficient treasury functions. Provides accounting guidance and direction on accounting and reporting requirements for new reinsurance transactions and new legal entities as needed. Works with valuation, finance, auditors, administration and senior management to ensure everyone understands the accounting and how it impacts the company’s financial statements, capital requirements, etc. Collaborates with the company’s leadership team and valuation in developing operating plans and projections. Ensures they are reasonable based on key drivers, trends and accounting implications. Oversees and reviews Sarbanes Oxley scope, compliance, risks and controls. Collaborates with external and internal auditors. Initiates and leads projects that improve the efficiencies of processes, improvement of management reporting and the strengthening of controls over financial reporting. Works with various departments and management within the company to identify business needs, financial reporting and accounting needs and to resolve problems/issues to ensure needs are met and to ensure timely, accurate and consistent reporting. Leads, manages and directs the activities of department staff and management in all aspects of supervisory duties, including, but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining direct reports. Fosters a positive and engaged work environment. Mentors associates and gives guidance on associate development. Serves as a member of the leadership team, including setting strategic and tactical direction, division goals and objectives, and development of joint plans to achieve goals and objectives. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience 15+ years accounting/finance experience 7+ years management experience Master’s Degree CPA certification FLMI 8+ years insurance/reinsurance accounting experience will be an advantage.
