Offering market-leading TV/video, local and international voice and internet solutions, they are seeking a talented and professional leader for the position of: Chief Financial Officer – BERMUDA ($US, Low Tax) The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be based on the Island and will function as the strategic partner to the CEO. In this capacity the CFO will have overall responsibility for the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions, Financial Planning and Analytics as well as accounts payable and collections teams. They will also have oversight over the financial function of our client’s Caribbean subsidiary and a shared service accounting team based in the USA. The CFO in conjunction with the CEO and board of directors will be instrumental in developing and executing the company’s short and long term strategies, will have overarching responsibility for monthly and ad hoc performance management reports and metrics and will act as primary liaison for the external and internal auditors for the Group. Additionally, the CFO will provide financial support for the development of new services and products, expansion for the Group operations and financial controls and procedures for the Group. Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Internationally recognized accounting designation- CA, CPA or equivalent. A Masters • Business Administration (MBA) would be considered an asset. • A minimum of 12 years post qualification work experience that includes a minimum of 5 • presenting financial and performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting at board-level, preferably obtained in the telecommunications field. • Strong previous experience reporting in US GAAP accounting standards and • of public SOC audit compliance. • Working knowledge of enterprise accounting systems, experience in the development • maintenance of management costing systems and a strong working knowledge of • Ledger systems. • Experience with mergers, acquisitions and investor relations is highly preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrable project management and leadership skills with the ability to delegate, • and inspire team members • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Candidates should be highly portable and have a range of outside interests that will lend themselves to Bermuda’s idyllic living environment.
