Job Description : SENIOR BUYER ICT NIGERIA 8+ years experience o Engineering degree from a reputed college o Knowledge on all types of Vendors available for the scope of items to be procured in India and the Globe o Should have the technical understanding of the items under this category and worked closely with Engineering and Projects o Should be a good communicator and Team worker o Negotiation Skills o Communication Skills · Knowledge on procurement of O&G IT related items, Software, Hardware) Accessories · ICT buyers create and place purchase orders for ICT products and services, handle receiving and invoice issues, assess current procurement practices and effectively apply strategic sourcing methodologies. · They build relationships with strategic vendors and negotiate price, quality, service levels and delivery terms · Identifying the organisations purchasing needs. Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials. Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales. Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders.
