Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : Chief Financial Officer for a PE-backed portfolio company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer / Board of Director and provides oversight of the Accounting, Finance and other functional department of the Company. This role holds principal accountabilities for the planning, forecasting, implementation, and management of all financial activities and optimizing the financial performance of the whole organisation. • Demonstrated successful experience in utilizing financial strategies involving strategic thinking skills to analyze information and align financial objectives with organizational success • Interfacing with the Board of Directors including presentation of financial results • Proven track record of managing financial forecasting, oversight of internal and external audits, and strong cash and investment management strategies, M&A transactional work. • Provide leadership and guidance over multiple functions of organization to improve quality and efficiency of department while reducing costs and improving profits. • Strong competencies in continual assessment of competitiveness of organization against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets. • Minimum of 20+ years of experience with (5+) Years of CFO or equivalent role experience in multinational companies. Strong preference will be given for someone who has worked in the InsureTech, Fintech, Blockchain and relevant industry domains. • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA/ACA/CMA or MBA is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. • Demonstrated successful ability to develop and maintain excellent business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
