Job Description : HEAD OPERATIONS NORTH INDIA 20+ years experience, CTC upto 1 CR · You will be reporting to CEO of the Business Vertical. · You will be reported to by 8-9 Plant Managers and one more Plant Manager added once the new Greenfield project in south is set up Role Created: - · This is a new role is being created to augment the aggressive expansion plans envisaged · Improve Organizational efficiencies through improvement in systems and processes · Ensure rationalization of resources across the organization thus contributing to the EBITA and PAT · Inculcate and Drive Business Excellence Systems - TPS, Lean, WCM, etc. Key Responsibilities: - · Drive Plant and Operational P&L bottom lines by implementing the very best of Systems & Processes · Integrated approach across all the plants to ensure better cost efficiencies through better utilization of inventory and processes · Work closely with MSIL and TML to ensure all the quality queries and challenges are addressed immediately and open issues if any are immediately taken care of · Interact with customers to understand their production plans and agument capacity utilization as per the same · Ensure KPI's are met - Production, Quality, Productivity, Cost as per Annual, Monthly and Daily targets · Proactively build a culture of Safety with zero accidents, along with Plant Control department and other relevant stakeholders · Ensure strict adherence to Statutory Compliance as per various applicable regulations like Pollution Control, Boiler Operation, Factory Act etc. · Maintaining harmonious Trust based Industrial Relations with employees and workmen · Integrate with Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate governance as per global organizational policies · Review of counter measure implementation status of Production & Process related problem. · Participation in creation of Plant Budget and drive adherence to the same · Participation in planning and implementation of new production lines at Plant · Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) at Plant to extract best performance · Constantly review of Processes, Audit defects and their counter measure · Drive better than best Asset Utilization and Timely dispatches to clients pan india · Lead the NPD across both existing and new clients. · In-depth understanding of industry & technology trends with merit of instituting quality control techniques to achieve product excellence at the lowest overall costs · Building networks all around with Customers/ Suppliers/ Associates. · Excellent interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills with proven track record of utilizing process-oriented approach towards the accomplishment of cost, profit, service & organizational goals · Lead the Planning, Implementation of changes to technology, Machinery and Equipment, Process Methodology, Direction of Quality Assurance and Control Systems & Reporting procedures · Expert in managing the employees of all the departments for the smooth production run. · Preparation of Yearly revenue budget for Plants, Regular Dash Board and Review · Review the Consumption & Inventory status of Indirect Process Material on weekly basis with respect to approved budget. · Monitor and review tool cost per part on monthly basis. Required Candidate profile · Must be a full time Graduate Engineer with a good academic record. · Ideal / Preferred Age: 38 - 45 Yrs with about 15 - 22 Years' experience in the Auto Tier- 1 Industry. · Experience Needed at Leadership Levels: - · Minimum of 4+ years' experience of leading the Entire Plant Operations for Atleast 5 plants · OR · Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager for a large plant employing atleast 2000 + people and Turnover exceeding Rs. 1500 + Crores. · Proven Track record of Implementing Business Excellence Systems - Toyota Production Systems, World Class Manufacturing Systems is most preferred for this role. · Hands on Experience of Driving Profitability and Improving Systems and Processes with an Automotive Tier -1 Company is Mandatorily needed for this role. · Excellent Understanding of understanding the Quality Issues and Concerns across customer segments includes 2W, 4W, Commercial. · Cross functional experience in Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Excellence, Quality and Maintenance is most preferred. · Ability to work in a Multi - Cultural environment and directly working with Expats on specific projects and making dash boards and presentations on a regular basis · Hand on Experience of Shop Floor related improvements and overcoming challenges on the shop floor through advanced work flow management like 3G, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Lean etc. will be of added advantage. · Proactive decision maker for successfully achieving organizational objectives. · Strong team builder with strong mentoring skills is essential for this role. · Extremely flexible mindset with a defined level of assertiveness.
