Project and Operations Head

Job Description : PROJECT AND OPERATIONS HEAD PAN AFRICA FOR MINING Mining engineer (B.Tech/ B.E) from reputed institute. Masters degree desirable but not necessary. 1st class mine manager certificate or equivalent Pre-Operations. Experience Level:- 20 years of experience. At least 3 years of experience at senior level managing mining operations. A similar experience in Africa or an international project will be an advantage. Operational experience in Bauxite mine Skills and capabilities:- Language :- Very good communication in English & Knowledge about French (Working Knowledge or Beginner ) Role:- 1. Strategize, Plan and finalize mining contract, transport, logistics and other relevant facilities for operationalizing the bauxite mining in accordance and support with the Project Director 2. Costing and budgeting of all mining related process. 3. Coordinate with the team of geologists and consultants for mine planning and scheduling for mining operations based on targeted quality and production volumes. Operations 1. Head cross-functional team of Mining, Supply Chain, Accounts and Liaison to ensure mining operations as per approved plan for quality and volume. 2. Integrate the functional and support teams, and aligns the objectives, goals and actions to achieve the required results for the Alberta Mine’s annual and long range plans consistent with corporate objectives and priorities. 3. Recommending methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs 4. Plan and implement design, construction, and operations of mining operations 5. Evaluation of operations cost, productivity and efficiency of mining operations. 6. Contract management for mining operations to ensure efficiency, quality and volume 7. Manage all stakeholders (internal and external) for effective utilization of resources in mining operations, safety and statutory aspects. 8. Planning guiding and controlling the production based on forecasts and ensure timely fulfillment 9. Strategize expansion plan and feasibility analysis for such expansion for commercial viability. 10. Cost analysis, P&L Accountability 11. Planning and executing the rehabilitation and refilling plans.
