Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD ZAMBIA Industry : FMCG Job Description : -Provide leadership and vision by assisting the board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on strategies. -Facilitate the Sales team for achievement of Annual Business Plan (ABP), increase in distribution, visibility and market share. -Work closely with the sales team for coverage, Distribution and Display objectives in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP). -Guide the Sales team for establishing Sales Targets - Brand wise - Pack wise as per ABP. -Help them in breaking the sales and distribution targets Geographically, Monthly, Weekly & Daily. -Formulate and execute company?s strategic plan. -Identify, create, and develop new market opportunities, taking the lead on constructing a robust and successful business proposal that secure new deals, contracts and long term relationships. -Support and lead company products sales, growth and continuous cost & quality improvements in the business. Manage all sales related activities covering setting and strictly monitoring of sales targets and ensures accurate delivery of products in all sales channels. -Communicate operational/sales results, activities, etc. to Executive Management and provide recommendations and plans for ongoing improvement. -Regularly have financial review with the accounts department to ensure that the Budgeted Top-line and Profit Targets are achieved. -Maintain a high level of confidentiality throughout: on current business activities, short-long term plans, proposals under scrutiny and any other activity related to the business. Education : -Bachelor?s Degree or the equivalent in business or a related field. Experience: -Experience in sales and in managing people is a clear asset. -The ideal candidate will be energetic, appropriately qualified and experienced in the sector. They must be willing to be flexible, a great communicator, and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders. The role is one that will enable the right person to grow the business and develop their own leadership and management skills further, as part of a growing group of successful companies.
