Job Description : Purchase Manager (Expatriate) NIGERIA Job Type: Full-Time Industry/Sector: Manufacturing (Food Ingredients) Job Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun State. Job Summary: To handle the Purchase of Food Raw Material, Ingredients, Packaging Material, Spares & Promotional Items. Job Responsibilities: · Responsible for Purchase of all Direct , Indirect material and Spares as per requirement of Production and User department · Ensure timely availability of items under consideration · Ensure that the items are purchased at competitive rates to optimise cost · Ensure the material purchased is of the right Quality as per Specification Provided · Ensure timely payment to vendors as per due date and resolve payment issues and reconciliation of vendor accounts · Handle Quality issues · Maintain optimum inventory level for Direct / Indirect Materials · Submit Inventory reports on timely basis · Maintain records and documentation · Ensure that the purchase is done as per the process laid down by the Management · Material Requirement Plan & Production Plan · Conduct Procurement Team Meeting for resolution of Pending issues · Ensure minimum 2 vendors are available for all the Items · 8-10 years experience in Food FMCG sector, handling Procurement of Food Ingredients & Raw Materials, Packaging Material , Spares and Promotional Items. · Experience in ERP Software and MS Office · African Experience preferable but not essential
