Accounting Head

Job Description : ACCOUNTING HEAD SWITZERLAND In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Swiss-based accounting teams and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Part of the responsibility will also be financial control and compliance with local regulations by coordinating all legal filings. As they are currently transitioning to a new cloud-based ERP system, this position will be responsible for aligning processes across the accounting teams. Management of the inventory, accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting teams to ensure effective control of working capital. Oversee the implementation of Group accounting policies and processes. Supervise the delivery of the month end 10 Swiss entities management accounts, consolidation of the swiss region, the quarterly board reports, year end reporting packs and annual financial statements. Ensure effective cashflow planning and cash flow forecasts are in place The company is looking for a Head of Accounting, who has excellent knowledge of local GAAP/IFRS reporting in a multi-currency environment. Fluent in English and German is an big advantage Qualified accountant (preferably BSc in Finance and Accounting or professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA) Minimum 15 years' experience Experience in reporting in a complex multi-currency IFRS based company would be required Full understanding of Swiss GAAP and IFRS Swiss taxation and statutory reporting experience First experience of managing a team
