Sales Head

Job Description : Head Institutional Sales (DRC West) Base Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo What you become a part of: The incumbent will be responsible to develop and implement market positioning strategies for Shalina Healthcare and work closely with the sales team to deliver timely sales targets fir assigned region and ensure to create robust stakeholder relationships with various HCPs, KOLs and institutions. What to expect: · Identify opportunities and strategies to improve positioning at the local level. · Follow potential leads and initiate follows up on new business opportunities. · Leads new business meetings and closes sales to institutional customers and corporates. · Leverages the organization's relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives. · Responsible for generating revenue and meeting sales targets from large institutional clients. · Consult and follow up with potential partners to understand their requirements, suggest a roadmap and sign them up. · Stay abreast of new developments in the sector to enhance the effectiveness of the outreach. · Conduct market assessments with business development teams to identify target audiences and possible partners within the community. · Create an events strategy and calendar of events to drive institution engagement on the ground and virtually. · Manage the partnership process including initiation, onboarding, ongoing support, and building relationships through networking opportunities. Essential skills, experience & education: · University Degree in Business Mgmt. or equivalent business degree or an MBA · Experience (8-10 years) in role focusing on institutional sales pharmaceuticals/healthcare sector. · Prior experience working in Africa is preferred but not mandatory · Self-starter with an ability to stay independently motivated and deliver the assigned mandate · Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with diverse colleagues
