Commercial Finance Manager

Job Description : COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER INDONESIA A large multinational manufacturing and production business is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support their established business unit in Jakarta. In this job you will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team to achieve their financial and non-financial targets for the business along with other ad hoc issues. This position will be a critical role within the commercial division reporting directly to the CFO. Based in South Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company. Partner the Commercial Director and BD Team to drive commercial growth and profitability, support commercial team in preparing tender submission file, run price calculators, volume forecasts and contract assessments Partner with the R&D and operations team to validate product costing of new product and review RCCP/Capadem for future volume prospects Champion product finance analytics (e.g. price, cogs, mix, cost to sell, productivity, profitability, etc.), understand, communicate, and explain variance drivers within the business Provide meaningful insights/actionable outcomes to leadership to drive profitable growth. This includes management and oversight of the business cycle short/long term, budget, forecasts Analyse performance and propose action plans to improve profitability through value engineering process as well as corrective action plans as needed Collaborate/lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification/standardisation and/or improve rigour in key commercial/finance processes for better/sustainable growth and profitability Collaborate on projects related to internal controls over financial reporting for example commercial contract T&C standardisation, contract offerings, etc. Develop and improve financial processes/tools – for instance, live and dynamic reports/dashboards, scenario-based outcomes, budgeting and estimating processes, project paybacks/ROIs Lead/support strategic initiatives through rigor & process simplification through transformation projects and sales force effectiveness initiatives to enable and sustain commercial growth Work closely with the senior leadership team to formulate long-term financial and strategic plans Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting/finance Good communication skills Extensive knowledge of business process concepts Strong analytical and numerical skills, with high accuracy Excellent in managing yourself, convincing peers/superiors and achieving results Hands-on and proactive mentality with high integrity Familiar with SAP Minimum of 10 years of experience in controlling area and managerial level
