Job Description : Head Coal / Raw Materials Procurement HYRDEBAD For Reputed company Qualification : Should be A graduate in Engineering / PG qualification with over 20 / 25 years’ experience in handling Raw Materials in a medium to large-sized mineral-based industry. Job Responsibilities : Formulation of Strategy and planning for coal procurement through various modes like FSA, E Auction, Imported Coal and open market to meet the Business Plan Targets. - Provides inputs/guidelines to the management and user Plants related to the procurement of coal/fuel and raw materials for the Power Plants and Ferro-Alloy Plant - Manages effectively all the aspects of logistics and supply chain, as approved by the management, to ensure timely transportation of raw materials through cost-efficient communication channels - Participates actively in Plant meetings to provide inputs on matters related to raw material procurement - Implements procurement strategies and plans laid out by the management in line with changing business priorities and communicates with Plant Heads to ensure close alignment between procurement and business requirements. - Manages different aspects of the contractual agreements with the suppliers and maintains good relationships with them - Analyzes trends pertaining to price fluctuations from time to time and provides recommendations to the management for decision making - Oversees effective management of quartz mines - Maintains liaison with government bodies / Railway authorities / Singareni Collieries for effective accomplishment of tasks pertaining to permits and clearances - Ensures effective operation and maintenance of Railway siding Salary Rs. Up to 50.00 LPA
