General Manager Operations

Job Description : GM - Operation !!! Company Name : A leading Mining and Mineral Processing Company Position : General Manager - Operation Location : Ethiopia , East Africa Qualifications : B E in Mining or Mineral process Exp. Required : 20 + years Salary Offer : As per industry norms Requirements: •25 years of experience in mining and beneficiation plant operations. •Minimum 05 years of experience in Ethiopia as a production head in mining or beneficiation plant. •Proven experience as a General Manager/ chief manager/AGM. •Experience in green field and brown field project and at least 5 years’ experience in handling the mining and beneficiation plant projects. •Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. • Should have minimum 10 years’ experience in Tantalum or Tin mining and process plant. •Exceeding set operational targets, monitoring expenditure and performance whilst identifying opportunities for improvement to process efficiency. •Quality control of manufacturing processes and technical support for production equipment and systems. •Ensuring all production activities meet legislative and regulatory requirements of Ethiopia. •Managing budgets and cost reduction initiatives; •Investigating problems that arise during the manufacturing process and implementing pre-emptive solutions; •Providing continuous feedback, mentoring and guidance to production staff. •Weekly and monthly reporting to management. •Addressing safety and occupational health issues. •Manpower management to ensure maximum output from workers.
